The rain on the plain falls mainly before Evah Payne (arrives)

Well, last night we got some more rain, which we really needed. When I bought this 2 acres, I never thought about having to mow 2 acres of weeds. Well, that takes alot of time. I guess I'll get me some goats. I finally got Kyler lined out on how to weed eat, so that helps a little. He is not near as picky about his lawn care as I am.

Well, Grandma Payne made it safely to Texas. She is staying with us for a couple of weeks. Practice for this winter, I guess.

Kyler started school this week, and I guess he likes it, he hasn't really complained yet. He has some advanced courses, so maybe we'll see how smart he really is.

Here is a couple more pics for your viewing enjoyment.
The first pic is Babe Paschall, and we think RE Paschall on the far right. The last is the old Donley house that burned down. The middle is from a wanted poster in the post office.

Family shots

Here is a photo from John Dennis's wedding, in 1982. Some of you have really changed.

More Photos

This first pic is Drew and Uncle John, then Grandma, and the bottom is Grandpa, Dad, Charles Passmore, and John Wells, (I think.)

Here are some more photos for your view enjoyment.

BACK AGAIN

It has been some time since I last posted, but nothing really happens in our lives here in West Texas.

We went and saw Jane and Ralph yesterday, and had a wonderful time. I got to browse hundreds of old pictures, and hear some stories about the Paschall family that I had never heard before. I'll post the pictures over time, but here are a few for your viewing enjoyment. See if you can guess who some of these folks are.
Anyway, not much is going on here. Kyler is starting school tomorrow, but he doesn't seem to excited. Kelli and I are just working as usual.
till next time.

Aunt Jane's Bday

Well, for those of you that missed it, Aunt Jane turned 23, and we celebrated at the river. It was good to see some of the folks we don't get to see to often. Sabrina came, with her granddaughter. ( hard to believe.) Bruce came, and Robert, Missy and John Robert II. We had quite a wild time. We had to call a cab for Uncle Ralph, but he made it to church, ( a couple of minutes late). Here are a few photos.

gettin rich in the housing market

Here are some photos of the house I built. My plans for getting rich are quickly going down the toilet. I got into the home building business just in time for the housing crash. So now I have a winter home and a summer home. 2 miles apart. If anyone needs a place to stay, let me know.

Fishing trip

These are a little late, but here are some photos from our annual fishing trip to Durango. The weather was really nice in July, just a little rain and lots of sun. We caught our limit every day, and we brought home 48 fish. I also included a picture of Grandma's house. It sure looks little. That fish Drew is holding is one we bought at the store. It is plastic, but it sure looks real.
